Today our High School Jazz Ensemble traveled to Granville Elementary and Mary J Tanner to perform for the younger students.
"This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about what the Jazz Band does and about some of the instruments they play. The songs were upbeat and the students were "bopping along" throughout the entire performance. Mrs. Stout took the time to let the performers introduce themselves, and then went around the audience to answer questions students had. For the last song, 3 MJT students were selected to help play the tambourines to Uptown Funk. " ~ Mrs. Taylor
